This beautiful area is recognised as one England's Finest Landscapes and is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The area is home to 12000 people and visited by millions of tourists annually. It is also a place where many people including around 350 landowners make their living and some of our rarest and precious wildlife makes its home. In order to ensure a strong future for the area the AONB Partnership is required to develop a comprehensive Management Strategy and to encourage everyone who is interested to engage in its preparation. As a consequence, it will be of interest to the communities, parishes, residents, businesses, landowners and farmers, agencies, authorities, utilities, organisations, visitors and amenity groups operating within, or with an interest in, the area.
If you would like to help us ensure the long-term future of the North Devon which is a primary environmental, economic and social asset of North Devon and which underpins the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve designation. Please help us by reading the management plan and responding to our online survey available from the website.
We will also be running a number of consultation workshops tick the appropriate box if you would be interested in taking part.
